I have 4 pretty red and red and gold Chinese lanterns around my gazebo. I have to loungers as well. Here I have 5 potted plants - all are multi-colored gladiolas. I also have 8 more pots in which I planted 2 Asiatic Jasmine, 2 Indian Hawthorn, 2 Mock Orange, and 2 Purple Hearts. Theses 8 are shrub - like vines, all have the tendency to grow and branch out. My desire is to have them all grow up the corners of my gazebo, as most vines will do. I also have 2 gold (painted) statues. One is the Arch-Angel Michael and the other is Blind Justice - I call her Blind Wisdom.
I have a black, arched trellis that separates the two parts of my backyard/garden. There I have planted 3 Lady Banks vines - 2 on either side of the arch and 1 at the end of the trellis. I also just planted them this season so, they have a lot of growing to do.
I also have an inner garden. This inner garden I call my Buddha Garden. Here I have a statue of Buddha. Buddha is watching over my many trees. I have a peach tree, a fig tree, a five-in-one apple tree ( 5 different apples together in one tree), a pear tree, a very young cherry tree, and a very young olive tree - the last two I planted this season, I also have a few nuts trees as well.
Meet Gino the pigeon, he's sitting atop the trellis! My girl Ginger. And a bird friend.
I will try to post more pictures soon.
